Due partly to one of my dear friends on here having the name 'Serendipitously', I think I tend to notice serendiptious events.

Take for example, work this week.

Great week at work.  Very organized, on the ball.  Made for much fun, and a more relaxed environment for myself.

One of my tasks this week was to being research on a new market segment we want to launch in an upcoming catalogue.  Okay, sounds like fun!

I google (hey, remember when that was the name of a search engine, not a verb?) some key terms, and end up finding this amazing trade show, convention and conference in Toronto.

This weekend.

(whoops)

So I mention it to my boss - she's in a cheery mood - and I'll be off to get some great research done this weekend.

I do enjoy my job...

-R.

EDIT:  With Jon working at Dinosaur Provincial Park this summer, we really must go camping there.  Everyone.  That's an order.

For the record, I no longer smell like cheese.

Silly hijackers.

That I'm married to.

Anyway.  Today, was a great day.  Although I started out somewhat terrified, it was really really really good.  Breakthrough at work.  Went for a quick cycle after work.  Gonna go make some dinner.

I think I really got it this time.

On another note...

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MEGHAN!  So you old enough to drive yet? ;)

Just kidding.  See you at the Sqn tonight.
